About Wabi sabi maru
Perfect Imperfection
This blog will record adventures and experiences in our class B motorhome, which is a 2016 PleasureWay Plateau FL up-fitted Mercedes Sprinter 3500 cargo van.
We came up with the name "Wabi Sabi Maru" after a good deal of thought. It was decided to name the motorhome after two attributes, "perfect-imperfections" and the description of a vessel that carries us on our journey, The word "Maru" means circle, perfection, completeness or a "world of it's own". Many Japanese ships are called "Maru" (and also captain Kirk's famous Kobayashi Maru). Our short name for the motorhome is simply "Maru".
